Brackendale Art Gallery Artist in Residence Workshop: Cuttlebone Metal Casting

Brackendale Art Gallery. 10:00 am - 4:00 pm. Come and learn one of the oldest casting methods for making jewelry, coins, keys and small sculptures. All tools provided but if you would like to bring your own Dremmel or carving tools or safety goggles, please do.

Make a unique gift for yourself or someone on your holiday list this year, a pendant or other jewelry.

Taught by Chad Depner, BFA Red Deer College 2003.  Chad learned this method of small-object design and casting by applying his college experience in sculpture and foundry work.

$100 includes lunch, at least two pieces of jewelry and a polishing tool.
