SQUASH ALERT!!! Please come and support the Squamish Squash Club from January 22 to January 24th. Watch great Local players as well as competitors from Vancouver Island, the BC Interior and more (spectators are FREE and very welcome). Grab a beverage at the bar in our club and come on up to the viewing area to cheer your favourite players on. 18:00
Lots of fun for mountain bike riders of all levels. Toonie races every second Wednesdays feature 1-1.5 hour course and sponsored post-race party. Social Rides are non-competitive guided rides for riders new to Squamish and/or mountain biking. Downhill races are open to everyone, and end with a backyard BBQ along with the social ride participants 19:00
On May 12, BC voters will be asked choose not only what government they want today but how they want to elect governments in the future. The referendum ballot will two options: Do British Columbians want to stick with the first-past-the-post system? or Do British Columbians want a single transferable vote electoral system as recommended by the Citizen’s Assembly on Electoral Reform in 2004? | ||
