Don't let wild salmon become mythical creatures!

Thor will be going to join Alex later this month. Here is how you can help:
* Join the migration.  Walk with Alex Morton on her 500 km journey to tell the Federal and Provincial governments to get the fish-farms out of BC waters while there are still wild salmon to save.

Each week children will have fun creating various types of crafts: painting clay pots, jewellery making with glass beads, suncatcher decor, and using funky fabric to decorate keepsake boxes. Fee includes all supplies.

The next DH will be May 5, Sign up at top of Meet Yer Maker in Valleycliffe. Sign on begins at 5:30 but racers can sign on until the last rider goes. The race will be down Meet Yer Maker with racing beginning 6:00 pm.

Team Pura Vida and Pepe and Gringos present "Coins for Life - Change the World", a fun family fundraiser supporting the Canadian Cancer Society's Relay for Life. Join us at Pepe and Gringos on Wednesday May 5th anytime between 5:30 - 9:00pm. Dinner service will be available off the menu with 10% of all adult meal sales donated to the Relay for Life.

Photography-Who,What,Where,and When of Photography. Learn how to take better photographs. This is a non-technical, hands on workshop. You will be given instructions and an assignment, an opportunity to take photographs, and feedback on the images you capture.

All Shook Up’ is a fast paced, highly entertaining show from its opening number ‘Jailhouse Rock’ to the finale ‘Burning Love’. Performed by a 52 person cast from Howe Sound Secondary School. Directed by Janice Carroll, produced by Whitney Franklin and choreographed by Jennifer Carney. There will be 8 shows: Wednesday, April 28, 29,30, May 1 and May 5, 6, 7, 8.
