Brennan Park 9:00 am - 5:00 pm Wed-Fri. National Lifeguard Service is designed to train lifeguards. Teamwork, leadership, communication and prevention are emphasized. This course is required for obtaining employment at a swimming pool. 12:30

Eric Andersen presents slides on early landscape painters who visited the Squamish area, from 1888 to 1920's. Come to the Upstares Gallery Sept. 2 at 7:30 pm for the presentation. Admission is by donation with proceeds going towards high quality prints of early paintings of Squamish Northern Howe Sound for permanent local display. 20:00
