The District will be seeking neighbourhood input on the playground styles and components suitable for a range of age groups. A questionnaire will be available to encourage community input and feedback.

The Squamish Environment Society will host an evening with Caitlin Birdsall of the B.C. Cetacean Sightings Network, a conservation and research program of the Vancouver Aquarium. The Network collects sightings of all cetaceans (whales, dolphins and porpoises) and sea turtles from British Columbia and surrounding waters.

The Squamish Environment Society AGM will be held at the Brackendale Art Gallery Oct. 20th at 7pm. With guest speaker Caitlin Birdsall from the BC Cetacean Sightings Network. A program of the Vancouver Aquarium & DFO which collects sightings from all over BC & surrounding water. Everyone welcome by donation - AGM to follow.
