Northwest Coast Festival at Totem Hall
Squamish Nation is very proud to be the first Host Nation to welcome the Olympic Flame on our traditional territory!
Please join us February 4, 2010 at 3pm for refreshments and snacks while you enjoy an afternoon of interactive Olympic games, cultural performances, special guest speakers, Olympic Torch Relay video footage and traditionally made give-a-ways to welcome the torch. Once the torch arrives it will be paraded into Totem Hall by many of our traditional performers where it will take centre stage to receive a blessing by one of our esteemed elders. Come and witness some of the traditional protocol work and celebrate the 2010 Olympics with Squamish Nation.
