Consuming Kids Film Screening

Mark your calendars, on Wednesday, March 24 plan on seeing Consuming Kids ­ The Commercialization of Childhood, a critically-acclaimed documentary being screened at the Adventure Centre at 7:30 pm. Consuming Kids throws desperately needed light on the practices of a relentless multi-billion dollar marketing machine that¹s selling kids everything from junk food to violent video games and promises to change the way you think about childhood in the 21st century. A discussion will follow the presentation. The film is presented by Cedar Valley Waldorf School as part of the school's Annual Giving Campaign. Admission is by donation, and everyone is welcome.
