Squamish Estuary Explorations Training Day
The Squamish Environment Society is holding a free workshop on Sunday September 12th , for anyone interested in becoming a Volunteer Interpreter with the Squamish Estuary Education Project.
Volunteer Interpreters lead guided walks and share their love of the Squamish Estuary. No previous experience or training is required. If you are interested or curious but unsure of what is involved, that’s OK too! Come and enjoy a fun day of learning with us and then decide if becoming a volunteer is for you.
Meet in the Skylight Room at the Howe Sound Inn at 8:45am. Light refreshments will be provided, however this is a full day, from 8:45 am to 4:30 pm, and a bagged lunch or lunch in the HSI restaurant is recommended.
Please note that the training will include indoor and outdoor sessions – rain or shine - so please dress accordingly.
