Rock Bar Rock Star Karaoke Competition

Chances Boardwalk Squamish is holding a Squamish Idol-style contest running ten weeks beginning April 7 to June 11. 2011. Squamish’s DJ Darcy will be master of ceremonies. It runs eight Thursdays at 9 pm at the Rock Bar and Grill with the semi-finals and finals taking place on the bingo floor stage. The “Rock Bar Rock Star” will be selected by a panel of esteemed judges on Saturday, June 11.

1st Place will win $500 cash and the opportunity to perform on Mountain FM’s “Morning Lift” with Craig Stone and Karen Horak.
2nd Place will win $300 cash
3rd Place will win $150 cash.

The competition is open to anyone 19 years and older.
