Squamish Academy of Music Open House

Squamish Academy of Music will be opening their doors on Second Avenue with two open house days. Everyone is invited to stop by the new location at 38121 Second Ave, June 29th 3:00-8:00 and July 2nd 10:00-3:00.

An administrator will be available to discuss summer programs and private instruction and we will be offering a discount of 25% to anyone who registers for adult or kid summer programs on either of those days.

The open house will also feature live music by Scott Verbeek. A Squamish local, Scott has just returned home from his first year studying guitar at the prestigious Berklee College of Music in Boston. Verbeek will be a guest guitar teacher through the summer.

With programming beginning in July, Squamish Academy of Music will offer a range of musical opportunities. Students of any age will be able to study instruments ranging from piano and guitar to bassoon and Japanese Koto. Private singing lessons and Broadway or Bust Performing Arts classes will also be run through Squamish Academy of Music.
