Strengthening Families Parenting Program (ages 6 – 11)

The Strengthening Families Program for families with children 6 to 11 is offered twice per year in Squamish for parents and their children. This 12 session program focuses on, improving family communication, fosters positive parenting practices, helps to improve school performance and strengthens the parent-child attachment. Sessions are attended by both children and their parents and in addition to the curriculum, we offer a meal, daycare for preschoolers, transportation for those who require it.

Strengthening Families Parenting Program ( ages 10-14)

The Strengthening Families Program for families with children 10-14 is offered twice per year in Squamish for parents and their children. Throughout the 7 sessions the program focuses on positive parenting practices, improving family communication, and strengthening the parent-child relationship. In addition to the curriculum, we provide childminding, transportation to those who require it and a meal.

Nobody’s Perfect

A free parenting program for parents who are isolated and are parenting at least one pre-schooler. This six-week program has free childcare, snacks and transportation, if required.

Bringing Baby Home

Bringing Baby Home is an educational program for pregnant couples and families with children up to three years of age. It was created from the research of Dr. John Gottman, at The Relationship Research Institute in Seattle, Washington. The goal of the program is to improve the quality of life for babies and children by strengthening the parental relationship.
