Sea to Sky Battle of the Bands 2010

SEA TO SKY BATTLE OF THE BANDS is an annual talent competition to assist emerging Sea to Sky musicians, particularly young adults, in gaining performance experience and opportunities to take their music to the next level. To accommodate the unique nature of our Sea to Sky Corridor communities, two categories are judged separately: Solo Artist and Band.

British Columbia communities included in Sea to Sky Battle of the Bands are Horseshoe Bay, Lions Bay, Britannia Beach, Squamish, Whistler, Pemberton, Mount Currie, Birken and D'Arcy.

Semifinals will be held on Sunday, April 25, 2010 before a panel of Talent Judges in Whistler (closed audition). Three finalist Bands and three finalist Solo Artists will be announced at the end of the day.

Finals will be held on Friday, April 30, 2010 before a panel of Industry Judges, and the Band and Solo Artist Winners, Runners Up and Audience Choice will be announced at the end of the night.
